The primary Windows mail server will be upgraded to the latest version on 8th March 2008 at 18:00 UTC (13:00 EST), the change will take approximately 30 minutes.
During this time the secondary email server will catch all email sent so there will not be a loss in email services, however, users will not be able to download email or access the webmail interface until the primary mail server is back online.
The upgrade takes the mail server to the latest version of Smartermail 4.3.2981 from the current version 4.3.2831 bringing new security and performance improvements. For those interested you can view the release notes at http://www.smartertools.com/Products/SmarterMail/ReleaseNotes.aspx
Customers on Linux Hosting Plans will not be affected by the change.
